viewing entry : A rugged day

Pretty wet all day today and we are definately in midge territory. Swarms of the buggers as we pitched tonight. Guess thats what you get if you camp next to a loch. Good mileage today but rough going. Constant up and down on the shore line over rocks for most part. Loch looked excellent though and last few miles in sun. Plan a slightly shorter day tomorrow, about 10 miles. Hopefully weather will hold so we can do some socks. Finished at 765 miles so pretty happy. Spent last 20 minutes killing midges in tent

You look very tired... Sue says you've aged about 10 years, (Don't worry, I don't think you look 50!) keep the beard growing...

Love the photos guys - Now I'm actually jealous - what a view.

Just to keep you informed now your in Jock Country - England 5-0 Andorra - Dan, your gay icon hero hit another belter - Just, Crouchy got 2 but still no robots.

Your now starting to look like how I'd imagined it - slightly crazy looking, stubbled up and in need of some homely comforts - it must be brilliant.

Is it time to start calling you the Batemans?

Don't stray too far off the beaten trak - Wrong turns country up ahead.

Keep it going......
