Plenty of barren landscapes for us to enjoy, but as finding water has been difficult we have spent the last few days pushing out the miles. Yesterday we passed 600 miles in and today we crossed into Scotland. We've also managed to get to Kirk Yetholm food stop a day early! That's a rest day and a mile or two in the bag, although its taken its toll a bit. Julian and Josh were in the pub after finishing the Pennines in 12 days. Weather has been a bit wet, but i'm sure we can expect it to improve in Scotland..

Not that it's made of steel - stealing donkeys is not on. They help the children for crying out loud....
