viewing entry : Rain and eggs

Hi All, as Just mentioned in the audio we made it a third of the way today - 333 miles, the triple Nelson. Today we've passed between Birmingham and Coventry, finishing the day on 341 miles either in or under the threat of rain on a very blustery day. We collected some water from nearby stables and they kindly gave us three fresh eggs. We've hard boiled them for eating tomorrow and used the hot water for our nightly wash 'in between'. We're now hunkered down for the night expecting more wind and rain.

I'm so proud of you I could burst. Molly had a good birthday yesterday with a rather smart tattoo to prove it!!! You've missed the cake and Krispie

Thank you for the note on the lorry, really glad you left your details so we can follow your trip. I hope the eggs have given you both lots of energy to keep going for the great cause. Fingers crossed the weather will pick up for you.
Show went well so off this weekend to do another. Take care both and the best best best of luck

good work fellas, triple nelson and all that. Dave and I are about 40 miles from the West Virginia/Ohio border, about 540 miles into our walk and it's immensely hot - around 100 degrees F. nightmare. keep it up over there, enjoy rain if it comes!
