Woke to heavy drizzle. Wet weather routines a bit rusty after so long so didn't get on the trail till half eight. Picked up the macmilan way after dropping off to visit the bull. Weather broke mid morning and sun kicked in big style. Did good time and so found a lovely place for strip wash and laundry. Takes nearly an hour to do so have to be having a good day on mileage. Finished at 223 miles so pretty happy. Cotswolds are now on our horizon. Thanks to chris and nigel from our first food stop for the note.

Hey Guys:
Haven't been able to get to my computer as I've been off work!Went to the War and Peace show at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood last Wednesday, hottest day of the year and I still haven't recovered from heat stroke - thought about you guys alot and laughed at how much of a pain the arse I would be if I were with you all - probably crying and the whole 9 yards!
Take care and keep on keeping on!
Take care, Marilyn C.
