viewing entry : A good day that ends well

Left our campsite with best wishes from an old farmer. Didn't understand much he said but we are sure it was words of encouragement. Grand western tow path for most of the morning with a stop for food parcel three. Very quiet all the way and beautiful countryside. Hit the deane way this pm and now camped just in sight of wellington. Passed through a farm last thing and managed to scrape together enough for some strawberries. A treat after hitting over our mileage. Very hot day again.

Keep going - hope your feet don't hurt too much. And you haven't got sunburnt. And your backs are ok from the rucksacks. And you're not chaffing to badly.... Why are you doing this again?
