LeJog 2006 - Land's End to John O'Groats

Arrived back last night from dropping the food parcels off. We started at John O'Groats after bombing up to Fort William on Friday. We did six drops on Saturday, four drops on Sunday, six drops on Monday and four drops on Tuesday. We ended fifty miles outside Lands End and then belted back to Kent. Just under 2500 miles in five days. All obviously at high speed. A big thanks to Lo Gray and Russ in Edinburgh and Clitheroe respectively for not just putting us up but making sure our alcohol intake was significant enough to push us through the next 3 months! Todd is going to be putting up a page to show all our food drops and both Dan and I would like to say how pleasant and helpful everyone was at the pubs and hotels that allowed us to leave out provision packages with them. We will be getting the coach down to Penzance then a bus on to Lands End on Thursday. Then a bit of housekeeping on Friday and set off at last on Saturday 7th July. As usual there seems to be an endless list of things to sort before we leave but starting to feel that everything is coming together.
